This round cushion pattern is one of the very first crochet items that I made when I first started crocheting, around five years ago.

And I haven't had to make one for two to three years so it's been nice finishing one off this week. It's also reminded me how far I've come since I first started crocheting!

The cushion pattern itself is fairly simple although the flower embellishment is a bit more fiddly.  I had to refer to my trusty how-to guide for a refresher on how to do the french knot detailing as I don't think I've used french knots since the last time I made these cushions.

The challenge this time has also been that I never made notes on exactly what yarn I used to acheive the size I did last time so there was a bit of guesswork involved. And as usual, I guessed wrong. Haha. Oh well. I've made notes for next time.

Who else is still learning as they go along?
