It's pretty safe to say that Crafter Granny has been my top seller in the last 12 months - well I should say last 9 months because I only started making her in Aug last year. 

 And it feels like I've made a lot of Crafter Grannies lately. So I thought I'd look back on just how many I've made. Including the one that I finished today - I've made 27 !!! I was thinking maybe 10 or 11 - not 27.  Yikes!

I love that people are keen to vary her hair colour, her dress colour and her apron colour. It makes her so much more unique and endearing to her new owners. 

I didn't originally choose to make her.  Like almost all my products, it started with one person asking me if I can make something they have seen. I find the pattern and then voila!  So thank you Zhaya Designs for creating this awesome pattern. 

I generally think of myself as being a pretty poor judge of what is going to be popular because I've never really had mainstream tastes.  And in all honesty, that probably suits me because I much prefer to make what someone requests rather than me trying to work out what people want.
