Today is the last day of COVID alert level 3 - in fact, it's the last half an hour as I sit and write this, close to midnight. It feels a little like New Years Eve - without the fireworks.
I've been running low on lots of my crochet supplies over the last 6 weeks so I'm super stoked with the idea that I'll hopefully be able to stock up from tomorrow.
I've bought some yarn and other supplies online in the interim, but internet shopping for yarn just doesn't have that same allure and excitement as surrounding myself with yarn in the yarn aisle at Spotlight.
Due to the abovementioned shortages, Angelina, that I completed today is half my signature cotton yarn and half a generic acrylic. I hate having to use the acrylic but hey, beggars can't be choosers at the moment, right?
What have you had to substitute over the last 6 weeks?
