Looking for a gift for mum and baby?

This set of mother and baby watermelon turtles is lovingly hand crocheted from my home in New Zealand and is made from 100% cotton yarn and filled with hobby fibrefill. Acrylic yarn is substituted when cotton yarn is unavailable.

Unlike real turtle mums who do not care for their young, this set of mum and bub turtles share a bond closer to that of humans.

Mum turtle is 18cm (7 inches) in length. Bub turtle is 12cm (5 inches) in length.

Set of 1 mum turtle and 1 baby turtle is $92

Set of 1 mum turtle and 2 baby turtles is $110

It's a good thing turtles are so slow to move so that baby can't get very far without mum and mum can't get very far without baby.

Mum and baby turtles would love to be owned by a little boy or girl who can look after them.

Alternatively, they'd feel just at home with a mum who has a baby on the way.

Mum and baby turtles come from a non-smoking, pet free home.

Mum and baby turtles are watermelon coloured but I can also do strawberry coloured if you prefer.

Gift wrapping available for additional $6. This includes wrapping, a bow and a personalised message on a card.
