Hand Crocheted Jake The Snake

He's a slithery snake who likes to sneak up on you but the good news is, he doesn't bite.

Jake the snake is lovingly hand crocheted from my home in New Zealand and is made from 100% cotton yarn and filled with hobby fibrefill. Acrylic yarn is substituted when cotton yarn is unavailable.

Snakes have flexible jaws, which allow them to swallow prey bigger than their heads. This makes being a snake dentist a hazardous job. But you don't have to worry about Jake. He doesn't have any teeth.

Jake is fairly long. He measures 106cm (42 inches) from tip of tongue to tip of tail. His body is 19cm (7.5 inches) circumference.

Jake also comes in a shorter 71cm (28 inches) length for $76.

As you can tell from the pictures, Jake likes to explore. But when he's not exploring, he doubles as a great draft stopper or neck pillow!

Warning: Not suitable for children under 3 years. Contains small parts. However, I can replace Jake's safety eyes with yarn eyes to make him safer for children under 3 years.

Jake the Snake would love to be owned by a little boy or girl who can take him on adventures. Alternatively, he'd feel just at home with an adult because as you can see from one of the pictures, nothing beats curling up with a good book.

Jake the Snake comes from a non-smoking, pet free home.

Jake the Snake has traditional rattlesnake colours but if you'd prefer other colours, just let me know as Jake can be made in any colour combination you like.

31 October is the cut off date for Christmas orders. Orders placed in November and December may have longer than normal processing times.
