Hand Crocheted Eddy the Elephant Baby Shower Gift | Animal Family | Elephant Plushy Toy

Who would not love to see this elephant in the room? He's pretty hard to miss as he stands 23cm (9 inches) tall and 40cm (15.5 inches) length from rump to tip of trunk.

Although elephants can swim - they use their trunk like a snorkel to breath in deep water, Eddy is not so keen on water. He's more likely to use his trunk to blowdry himself if you get him wet.

Eddy the Elephant is lovingly hand crocheted from my home in New Zealand and is made from 100% cotton yarn and filled with hobby fibrefill. You'd be forgiven for thinking he's full of peanuts. In fact, elephants don't like peanuts. They probably prefer potato chips!

Eddy can be very helpful around the house. In the wild, elephants can spend up to 16 hours a day collecting leaves, twigs, bamboo, and roots so if you've got garden work to do, he might be able to help!

Eddy would love to be owned by a little boy or girl who can look after him. Alternatively, he'd feel just at home with an adult who just loves to talk because elephants are great listeners. After all, look how big their ears are. You can tell African and Asian elephants apart by the size of their ears - African ones have much larger ears.

Eddy comes from a non-smoking, pet free home.

Eddy enjoys walks along the beach and you don't need to worry about him getting sunburnt. It's hard to put sunscreen on with a trunk so to prevent getting sunburned, elephants throw sand on their backs and their head.

Eddy is traditional grey but if you'd prefer other colours, just let me know as Eddy can be made in any colour or colours you like.

Eddy takes 4 - 5 weeks before he is ready to post or collect.

31 October is the cut off date for Christmas orders. Orders placed in November and December may have longer than normal processing times.
